High-Level Exterior Maintenance
High-Rise Facade and Exterior Glass Cleaning
Exterior cleaning at height is a safety-critical operation. The work has to be planned around access, weather, ground activity and the building's specific facade system.
A clean facade protects the appearance and perceived value of a building, but the work carries risks that ordinary cleaning teams are not equipped to manage. Rope access technicians need the right training, equipment, anchor points and rescue arrangements, and the building owner needs a clear method statement before work starts.
HC Cleaning has carried out high-level exterior work on buildings including The Avare and Wisma Perintis. We plan each project with the building management team, review access and ground safety, and stop work when wind, rain, lightning or visibility makes the operation unsafe.

Experience you can verify
Our high-rise experience includes exterior cleaning at The Avare and Wisma Perintis. These projects require more than cleaning skill: they depend on access planning, calm supervision and a safety culture that gives technicians the authority to stop when conditions change.
Coverage
We plan facade projects across Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. Each project is assessed individually for access, height, facade type and ground activity; not every building can be cleaned by rope access.
Frequently asked questions
Are your facade technicians trained for rope access?
Rope-access work is carried out by trained technicians using the required personal protective equipment and controlled access arrangements. The project method statement sets out the specific competence and supervision requirements.
How do you protect people and property below?
We establish ground exclusion zones, coordinate with building security and schedule work to reduce exposure. Tools and equipment are controlled to prevent dropped objects.
What weather conditions stop the work?
Wind, rain, lightning, poor visibility and other conditions outside the agreed safe limits can trigger a stop-work decision. The supervisor has authority to pause the operation.
How often should a facade be cleaned?
Frequency depends on the facade material, pollution, rainfall, surrounding construction and the building's appearance standards. We recommend an inspection before setting a recurring schedule.
